I created a series of maps for the Coastal Conservation team at Audubon to highlight the role of the Coastal Barrier Resources Act (CBRA) in protecting bird habitat. These maps were used in a report to the Biden Administration advocating for the inclusion of the CBRA in 30 x 30 calculations. They are also being utilized as standalone documents for lobbying Congressional members to support the expansion of the CBRA, a largely bipartisan piece of federal legislation that limits federal funding for the development of designated coastal areas, thereby promoting the conservation of those areas.
