I’m an environmental professional interested in using GIS & cartography to advance a just and sustainable future. My background and professional focus is on nearshore & intertidal ecosystems and marine resources.
I grew up near the Chesapeake Bay and have always had a deep love for water and the life within it. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Northeastern University (‘18), and Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Washington (‘22). After sailing tallships as a maritime professional and marine science educator for several seasons, I landed in the Puget Sound, where I currently live and work. It is a great joy to call the southern Salish Sea my home, and to work to steward its abundant marine resources. I love tinkering with various new and new-to-me tools and technologies to find solutions for environmental projects.
When I am not working, I am usually making linoleum block prints or freediving.
